Fopsha asked Neil Campbell what is his best marketing secret.
Isobel: what is the best-kept secret in marketing that you don't think people know yet?
Neil: It's a hard one to kind of say, but I also say over, over the years what I've learnt is it's kind of don't overcomplicate it. It's normally quite simple things that you do make a difference and actually returning to sort of first principles and things I got are really what, you know what make a difference.
So for example, we're testing our creatives all the time and kind of small. We're trying like what cards work and which ones don't and is this kind of you coming back and, and go viral? Can we make it fun and funny and things like that?
One of the biggest successes we've had in the last while is just to tell people that it really works. They clean your clothes, you know? So just kind of go back to the business of buying laundry. Does it work? We don't. Well, if you tell people that they do really well it may work!
So it's those kinds of things where you think of all this complicated stuff and how do I use this new technology etc...I think sometimes it's the really simple things, but, you know, you have to test quite a lot of stuff to find out one of the one or two simple things that really work.

Absolutely - Fospha is built privacy-first, and doesn't rely on invasive user-level tracking to feed our models. That's why our impressions measurement wasn't affected by iOS 14, and it's why brands using Fospha will always have the edge on those that rely on pixels to track their customers.
